LUNCH FITNESS CLASSES

Note:  Registration for fitness classes does not include a membership to our Fitness Center.  Memberships must be purchased to use the facility.

Prices for Lunch/Staff classes (12 weeks, no classes October 8th for Thanksgiving)

A minimum of 10 people registered is necessary to run the course.  

McGill Staff:  $17.40 + taxes
Complex Members & JAC staff:  $45 + taxes ($35 for Strength & Core once per week)
Non-members & Community:  $50 + taxes ($40 for Strength & Core once per week)
Drop-In fee per class $8 + taxes

BOOT CAMP: Mon & Wed 12:30-1:15 pm (Gym) Chelsea

Open to staff, students and general community - Looking to spice up your strength training routine? Boost your conditioning and confidence to the next level using a variety of functional training equipment. Challenge yourself and watch your transformation.

STAFF YOGA: Mon & Wed 12:15-1:00 pm (Studio) Maureen

Yoga can be as much or as little as you want it to be. For some it is purely a physical pursuit, keeping the body toned, strong and flexible. For others, yoga becomes more of a mindset and a way of living. Whatever your reason for practicing, or your level of experience – you'll love the class. 

STRENGTH, CORE & MORE: Friday 12:25-1:10 pm (Gym) Caroline

Strength, Core & More mixes core strengthening, weights, and basic movements in one incredible workout. A great option for anyone looking for an efficient, effective way to get their body  in shape. You'll combine weights with functional movement patterns to build a core strong enough to support an active lifestyle.

TOTAL BODY FITNESS:  Tues & Thurs 12:15-1:00 pm (Gym) Cathy & Wendy

Open to staff and students - A strength training class targeting major muscle groups using various equipment and body weight. TBF incorporates bursts of cardio into movements intended to help you tone all major muscles.

STAFF SPINNING:  Tues & Thurs 12:15-1:00 pm (Studio)  Jenn

Spinning is a great way to sweat off those calories, improve performance and give you a great work out.  This great cardio workout will get you in tip-top shape.  Get on the bike and ride!  The instructor will lead you through a series of hills, sprints, and flats, while listening to great music! 

TAI CHI: Monday & Friday 11:40-12:25 pm (Gym) Leon

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.  Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements.If you're looking for a way to reduce stress, consider tai chi.
