Note:  Registration for fitness classes does not include a membership to our Fitness Center.  Memberships must be purchased to use the facility.

Prices for Lunch/Staff classes (12 weeks, no class October 14 for Thanksgiving)

A minimum of 10 people registered is necessary to run the course.  

McGill Staff:  $17.40 + taxes
JAC staff:  $45+ taxes ($35 for once per week classes)

Complex Members & Students: $50 + taxes ($35 for once per week classes)
Non-members & Community:  $55 + taxes ($40 for once per week classes)
Drop-In fee per class $8 + taxes

BOOT CAMP: Mon & Wed 12:30-1:15 pm (Gym) Chelsea

Open to staff, students and general community - Looking to spice up your strength training routine? Boost your conditioning and confidence to the next level using a variety of functional training equipment. Challenge yourself and watch your transformation.

STAFF YOGA: Mon & Wed 12:15-1:00 pm (Studio) Maureen
 
This class offers a yoga experience designed to gently move the body through its full range of motion. It also builds the find of functional strength and balance that keeps the body able to manage the movements of every day life.
 
STRENGTH, CORE & MORE: Friday 12:30-1:15 pm (Gym) Caroline
 
Core & More mixes core strengthening, weights, and basic movements in one incredible workout. A great option for anyone looking for an efficient, effective way to get their body  in shape. You'll combine weights with functional movement patterns to build a core strong enough to support an active lifestyle.
TOTAL BODY FITNESS:  Tues & Thurs 12:15-1:00 pm (Gym) Cathy & Sandra 
 
Open to staff and students - A strength training class targeting major muscle groups using various equipment and body weight. TBF incorporates bursts of cardio into movements intended to help you tone all major muscles.
STAFF SPINNING:  Tues (Wendy) & Thurs (Crystal) 12:15-1:00 pm (Studio)
 
Spinning is a great way to sweat off those calories, improve performance and give you a great work out.  This great cardio workout will get you in tip-top shape.  Get on the bike and ride!  The instructor will lead you through a series of hills, sprints, and flats, while listening to great music! 
TAI CHI: Monday 11:40-12:25 pm (Gym) Leon
 
Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.  Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements.If you're looking for a way to reduce stress, consider tai chi.
CORE ESSENTRICS: Friday 12:00-12:45 pm (Studio) Diane

Core Essentrics is a full body stretching and strengthening workout designed to decompress joints and rebalance and lengthen your muscles. Benefits include improved posture, greater joint mobility, strengthened muscles and pain relief!
