Winter Evening Fitness Courses


Registration opens for everyone December 10, 2018. 

Our evening classes are open to staff, students and the public. Register online (make sure to follow the MAC courses icons) or drop by the Stewart Athletics Complex office and we'll be happy to help you.

Courses begin January 21, 2019 and run for 10 weeks (No classes March 4-8 for march break)

Take advantage of our OPEN HOUSE January 21-24 and bring a friend for free! 

Look at our list of courses below, and see what fits in to your schedule.  Note:  A minimum of 10 people registered is necessary to run the course. 

If you can't decide which course to take, buy an All-Access-Pass!  The All-Access-Pass allows you to attend any of the evening classes offered Monday-Thursday 
McGill Students & Complex Members $45 + tax $80 + tax
McGill Staff (non-members) $60 + tax $110 + tax
Public/Non-Members $75 + tax $140 + tax
Drop-In Fee / per class $8 + tax
Note:  Registration for classes does not include access to the Fitness Center.  A Membership must be purchased to use the facility.

ABS, BACK & BOOTY (studio) Mon & Wed 7:00 pm-7:55 pm with Wendy

The Abs, Back & Bootie class features muscle strengthening and toning exercise for the abdominals, back, legs and butt. Core stability, strength and endurance will all be challenged.

ZUMBA (gym) Mon 6:00 pm-6:55pm with Eleonora

Zumba is a fusion of latin and international music and dance that creates a dynamic, exciting, effective workout. The routines feature combinations of fast and slow rhythms that get the heart pumping.

SPINNING (studio) Mon & Wed 6:05-6:50 pm with Wendy

The instructor will lead you through a series of hills, sprints, and flats, designed to get your heart pumping. It's just like cycling on the road, but without the cars, dogs and potholes.

BROGA YOGA (gym) Wed 6:55 pm-7:55 pm with Steeve

Men and women alike can take this course and enjoy balance, strength, flexibility, concentration, and relaxation - in every class!  Here's a great opportunity to complement your current physical activity in a safe and mindful way. Note-This class begins January 16, 2019.

BOOTCAMP (gym) Tues & Thurs 5:45-6:40pm with Linda

Improve your strength and muscular endurance using a variety of resistance equipment and your own body weight. It's a perfect option for people who want to get stronger, leaner and more pumped and for anyone who likes a good sweat and isn't afraid of a challenge.

YOGA FLOW (gym) Tues & Thurs 6:50-7:45pm with Cathy

De-stress in this yoga workout that targets both mind and body.  Build strength, increase flexibility, improve muscle tone, and learn to relax...everything you want after a long day's work.
