Paddle Mac opens June 20
STE. ANNE DE BELLEVUE – Now that the hot summer weather is here, it's time to turn off your computer screens and grab a paddle. Scheduled to open on June 20, "Paddle Mac" rents paddle boards and kayaks to the general public.
The venue, located on the waterfront at McGill University's Macdonald campus in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, Que., is a perfect spot to leisurely explore the shoreline of Lac St-Louis while enjoying all the sunshine and gentle breezes that summer has to offer. Parent and child-friendly kayaks or paddle boards are available, as is the option to bring a blanket for a picnic or to laze in the shade. Safe-distancing and hygiene practices make it a perfect family outing.
Boats can be reserved for up to two hours and rental rates range from $15 (single) to $30 (double) per hour. Summer memberships are also available.
The venue is open weekdays from noon to 7 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Group rates and instructional classes are also offered. Discounts available for McGill staff. Reservations can be made online.
